Director, Sales Meetings and Events, The Sol Group Corporation

Tell us about your responsibilities at The Sol Group:
I work with amazing customers in the South Central United States, to provide information and amazing opportunities at Melia Hotels International properties around the world! Melia Hotels offer wonderful experiences for our meeting & incentive groups that attendees wouldn’t experience on their own, and I am lucky to be able to sell that every day, working for an amazing Leader who supports his team and clients always!

Please share something interesting about you.
I am based in San Antonio, Tx, Married to my best friend, and the mother of two young men, one in the Navy and one graduating from Highschool next year. I am also a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for Foster Kids and spend my spare time working with at risk children to have childhood experiences, they might not otherwise have, and being their voice in court! Truthfully, I learn more from them than they do from me 🙂

Why did you want to join SITE Texas?
SITE Texas has allowed me to enhance relationships with my customer base, as well as build relationships with new customers, and continues to offer opportunities to network with clients and other suppliers. The education is relevant and helpful to everyone and done very well! SITE Texas is an extended family for clients and suppliers and I can always count on business getting done at the Networking events and SITE TX Tech Conference! The board does such a great job of showing the value to members and potential members and it’s exciting to see our family grow each year.

What is coming up for you with Site Texas?
We are super excited to host the 2020 SITE TX TECH conference next year at the spectacular Melia Punta Cana Beach in the Dominican Republic. The teams at our hotels are so amazing, and I am super happy that SITE Texas Members and Potential Members, will be able to experience Melia! Hope to see everyone there April 22-26, 2020!!!
