Create a checklist of sustainable measures you and your vendors can meet together.    

Air quality, waste management, energy and production, water conservation, and procurement are all essential categories when considering an event’s sustainability.  Create a checklist of sustainable venue tasks and planner reminders to keep sustainability front of mind.

These tasks may include:

Air Quality: Book non-stop flights for staff and attendees whenever possible

Waste Management: Recycle bins are onsite and available to attendees

Energy and Production: Lights are turned off when meeting space is not in use

Water Conservation: Event tables are linen less to reduce the need for laundry and water

Procurement and Management: Local food and sustainable seafood is purchased for the event whenever possible
