Sales Director, Strategic Events, Meetings & Incentives
Responsibilities: My responsibilities include new business development exclusively. MCI USA is part of MCI Group with 61 offices across 31 countries. In the US we primarily work with Association business (housing, reg, lead gen technology, full production). Our offices outside the US have a good balance of Association and Corporate business. I was hired to drive Corporate New Business Development as part of our aggressive US growth plan in the Corporate sector, specifically within Life Sciences/HealthCare.
Something Interesting About Me: Not sure how interesting it is, but a just a little info about me. I have been married for 16 years, have 3 kids (14,12,7) and we live way north of Dallas in Celina. We stay really busy with kids sports and school but when I have free time I like to run, fish in our backyard lake and listen to Jimmy Buffett. I have been in the meetings & events industry for about 7 years before a non-compete blocked me from accepting a position, during that time off I owned a few difference business including an artificial turf company and a publishing company. I also began to work with HelmsBriscoe before MCI USA reached out to me with the opportunity.
Why SITE Texas: This is my local chapter and I remember attending some great events and meeting some fine people so I am looking forward to reconnecting.
