I support the President of Sales at Dallas-based Interstate Batteries. We execute an annual contest where winners receive an all-expenses paid trip w/spouse. Our trip this year was in Cabo San Lucas and extremely successful, but we are looking to take this contest even to the next level and really use it to motivate and push our team throughout the year. Hoping I can partner with the SITE community to help achieve this! Also, I have a goal to become CIS certified this year, as well!

Gregg Herning is a 30-year hospitality veteran with impressive experience in both sales/marketing and hotel operations. His body of work has landed him senior leadership positions at some of the industry’s most noted providers of luxury hospitality brands and considered a respected thought leader in the meeting and convention industry.
Currently Gregg Herning is serving as Vice President of Sales at Bellagio Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He leads his team with innovative thinking and he is positioning to create the most memorable meeting and convention guest experience available today. He was most recently Vice President of Sales for the iconic MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to MGM Grand, he served as Brand Vice President for the award winning Peabody Hotel Group using creative strategies and execution to allow a relatively small brand to compete, and win, among industry giants.
Gregg is excited to be associated with SITE Texas and exchange pertinent thoughts on relevant industry topics. Last year’s discussions on wireless connectivity and broadband requirements encouraged the idea of creating a valuable “needs assessment” for planners and suppliers to better understand the constantly evolving world of technology as it relates to our meetings. This year, Gregg was honored to share best practices for making our meetings and conventions more secure. It is hoped that this stimulating dialogue again will help both planners and suppliers speak clearly and effectively with each other in making our events safe and secure as we move forward in our changing world.
