Nancy McFarland

Accor
Director of Global Accounts Meetings & Incentives

Responsibilities: My role is to serve as an advisor to my clients by learning what their goals are and how I can help them to achieve those goals. I educate them on Accor’s global portfolio with a focus on what is relevant to their business. Work with my clients and my hotel sellers to create deals that are mutually beneficial and will set each up for success. Lately my role has changed slightly as I am the primary liaison with our hotels while many of our hotels sellers are on furlough. I am ready for them to be back and for us all to get back to booking business together!

Something Interesting About Me: I have an amazing family- my husband Patrick and two daughters, through adoption, Claire and Lizzie. For anyone who knows me- they are the center of my life! The last three months have been challenging but the silver lining is that we have all been together and are making it all work!!!

Why SITE Texas: I joined SITE Texas and Southeast last year for the first time. I used to be involved with MPI and PCMA- and as my career has evolved, SITE offers me so much more! Networking is so important and SITE attracts members that I either work with or share similar interests. SITE Texas’ education is advanced and relevant to my current role. SITE feels smaller and more of a focused organization – which I also appreciate.

What is coming up for you with SITE Texas: I am part of the SITE Texas CITP Virtual Study Group – and love it so far! We are also discussing participating in the Road Show this fall. When I can I join in the weekly Zoom calls and have just really enjoyed the constant communication from our chapters during this difficult time!
