Vision & Goals
What we stand for
What we stand for
To grow and engage our membership for success
As we move into the second half of 2020, reflecting on past experiences, although emotional, will help us focus on the future by healing and knowing prosperity will soon be on the horizon.
Over the past couple of months, SITE Texas has made a transformational shift to engage and embrace our community through virtual engagements and education. The Chapter’s goals have not wavered, only strengthened by focusing on the 2020 theme “Build on our Foundation” which has been passionately cultivated since our chapter’s inception in 1998 when Laurie Sprouse, Bill Vastine and a group of like-minded professionals completed our formation.
While we’ve now arrived at a place to catch our breath, I would like to say that SITE Texas has been tremendously blessed by your support and engagement during this time. Our success in 2019 set the strategy and goals for 2020 including membership retention and recruitment which is a paramount pillar of the health and sustainability of the chapter. I’m energized to invest my volunteer time with an organization that puts a true premium on relationships and return on investment.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been laying the groundwork for the SITE Texas chapter to carry its success well into the future by putting in place valuable processes and procedures that cement the years of winning formulas for future leaders to embrace.
Our chapter is moving forward with a very BOLD live event on July 22nd, at the Gaylord Texan with a hybrid component for those not able to be with us in person. Our industry veterans are bringing together a fantastic team to showcase how live events can operate under the newly established social distancing and health guidelines. The industry is hungry to see the pathway forward and SITE Texas is on the forefront of welcoming people back together to conduct the very important business of meetings. A very select few sponsorship packages remain for this program. In addition to the July hybrid event, the SITE Texas Roadshow table sponsorship opportunities will be coming soon for returning sponsors and will open to new sponsors, on a space available basis. The tireless sponsors of our chapter are truly the backbone of all our efforts. A resounding THANK YOU to each of our cash and in-kind sponsors throughout the entire terms of 2019 and 2020!
Throughout all of the planning and discussions surrounding our initiatives for 2020, I can tell you emphatically that the membership needs rest at the heart! The passion of this year’s Board of Directors is palpable and you can look forward to continuing to hear from us, individually, as we endeavor to uncover your needs and feedback on how we might best Build on our Foundation in a meaningful way for you! Together we are #SITEstrong and will emerge on the other side of this pandemic with a renewed sense of community and compassion.
Cheers to You SITE Texas!
